Grandmas Pat's Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup margarine or butter
1 cup oil
2 eggs, well beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
5 1/4 cups flour

Preparation
Cream
both sugars with margarine. Add eggs and vanilla. Stire in oil. Mix
dry ingredients in separate bowl. Blend dry ingredients with sugar
mixture well. Refrigerate over night or at least 2 hours.
Roll into balls, dip into sugar and flatten with bottom of glass. Cut shapes if desired. Bake at 350 degrees until the cookies are barely brown on top. DO NOT OVERBAKE! Let cool, decorate with Christmas cheer and lots of love and laughter!
