Classic New Orleans Bread Pudding

 

I can't say that I've made this recipe at the time of posting it, but I can say (without any doubt) that I will be making it soon. Very soon. 

I met with my best friend yesterday - we spent six hours at a local coffee shop catching up. :-)

While there, I enjoyed their version of bread pudding, which reminded me of Brown Betty. I looked that recipe up this morning, and the cookbook is on the counter, open to the page with the recipe. 

Then Facebook reminded me of this recipe. These days you never know if it's a real person sharing a recipe or not... but this one looks worth trying. Don't you agree? If you try it, come back and let me know what you think!
